Our deepest apologies. Our computer gave up it's ghost and we were not able to livestream this service.
This week's passage about the Syrophoenician woman is challenging.
Yet, I think it is very appropriate for this time in which we are living. As we explore
this passage, the beautiful song, "Draw the Circle Wide" by Gordon Light
will help us explore this scripture with fresh eyes. We will share communion
this week gathered in a wide circle around the Lord's Table. Chris is crafting
our torn strips from last week into a symbol of healing. It should be a
beautiful, holy ritual at the end of our service before we begin our brand new
program next week. If you do not feel comfortable coming to the front of
the sanctuary, you are very welcome to remain in your pews during the ritual.
Thank you for opening your hearts and minds to the creative, life-giving flow
of God's Spirit.
Many Blessings,
Pastor Marena
