Instead of an Ash Wednesday service, First Presbyterian Church (on the square in Greensburg) is celebrating Mardi Gras (Shrove Tuesday) on March 4th from 4pm - people stop showing up. A master pancake chef will provide fresh hot (or is it hot fresh) pancakes for your consumption anytime you arrive, from 4 until it ends. There will be egg casseroles, sausage and Kings Cake too. In addition, there will be games with prizes and a bit of live music!!!. It will be a fun time, a free meal, and no one will be trying to convert you to Presbyterianism (thank God for spell check). No need to RSVP, just show up! Laissez les bons temps rouler!
