Join us as we celebrate our world this World Communion Sunday.
This week’s sermon will come through you, as we share stories about how we have seen God in the world through our travels in this country and beyond. We have spent a lot of time focusing on negative things happening in the world, but on this day as we celebrate gathering around one common table, we will lift up the joy of our world. If you’re able, please bring a souvenir or artifact from travels or that someone has given to you from somewhere outside of Greensburg. During the service, if you feel comfortable, you can show your item and speak about how you’ve experienced God (love, kindness, goodness) in other places around the world. Our final week of the welcome series is about othering, how we welcome the other. This will be a great way to celebrate the diversity of God’s people and creation as we close this welcome series.
