Church Information

Ash Wednesday is approaching fast. It will be here soon! We have given lots of thought on how to best honor this holy Service and during this time of Pandemic. We felt the traditional service where ashes are imparted on our head or hands wasn't safe. Instead, we're offering a drive-through Ash Wednesday Service in which we'll impart the ashes on your car via a decal. For many of us, our cars have been a place of sanctuary, especially during the Pandemic and we felt this would be a symbolic way to convey the deep meaning of Ash Wednesday in a meaningful way. You can come to the church (at the corner of Franklin and Washington) to receive a blessing on February 17 anytime between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm. If you aren’t able to make it then, we will have decals for you any Sunday of Lent (for those who worship with us online we can mail one to you). Please invite your friends and loved ones as well.

A Reminder: Our pastors would like to remind you that they are scheduling visits with everyone who is interested. They understand fears about meeting in person at this time, and they are happy to meet any way you prefer...zoom, phone, in-person, in the church study, at your home, etc. Pastor Garrett and Pastor Marena would like to do these initial visits together to get to know you better. After that, you are welcome to reach out to either one of them. Pastor Garrett:1-765-350-6264; Pastor Marena: 1-765-350-0074
Sharing Table: Souper Bowl of Caring Sunday, February 7th
Did you know that there are many ways to contribute to SBoC? We are collecting items on the Sharing Table and donations of money for the Super Bowl of Caring this year. Our deadline is Sunday, February 7th. During these hard times, our help is needed more than ever. Many have lost jobs or had cuts in income and assistance is needed to feed families. Many elderly are not able to buy food. There is a call for our help! Food and toiletry items can be brought to the Sharing table located in the Reception Hall. If you prefer to donate money, a giving jar is on the table, or you can put your donation in an envelope designating it for SBoC and drop it in the Offertory tray on Sunday. Be sure to add your name to get credit for your donation. All donations, and items and money left on the Sharing table through February 7, will go towards our Souper Bowl of Caring collections. Thank you for all your help and all that you do for the church.
