Decatur County Agape Center
and Transitional Living Center
Established in November 2011 for Decatur County residents.
The Decatur County Ecumenical Agape Center offers a Christian form of help to those struggling financially throughout our community.
The Agape Center is a non-profit organization located at: 1533 N. Commerce West Drive, Suite 2, Greensburg, and the center is comprised of a group of area churches who have banded together to bring assistance to those facing financial crisis.
After filling out a "request for service" form and completing an interview, the need is assessed and if approved, payment is made directly to the client’s creditors.
The Center may also refer clients to Human Services, employment agencies, law firms, hospitals, or other local agencies where those in need can find a helping hand in lieu of a hand-out.
The Center is operated totally by volunteers and donations received.
Hours of operation: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday and Thursday, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday
